Guidelines

Bridal gowns must be four years old or newer, however we may consider older gowns that have a classic style. Of course, it all depends on condition. Please inspect your dress and take it to your dry cleaner if needed, before bringing it in. Remember to let your cleaners know that you will be consigning your gown and will not need “full gown cleaning service”. A full inspection of the gown is done when you bring it into the shop. If your gown has been cleaned and preserved in a box, please note we do not take the boxes.

We also accept tuxedos, accessories and children's formal attire. The same standards of condition and style apply. Please call us at 503.472.3013 with any questions! 

Pricing

Prices are determined by our experienced staff. The consignment price is agreed upon between the seller and New To You and is based on the original cost of the dress, style, age, and condition. Occasionally, markdowns will be needed to help your gown sell. You will receive 60% of the selling price of your bridal gown if sold within the first six months. After that, the commission will be 50% of the selling price. We will consign your bridal dress for a period of one year. Please remember it is your responsibility to contact us regarding your dress. Bridal attire not claimed within 12 months will become the property of New To You and may be donated to charity.
